Jennifer, The Joseph I'm looking for would have been born a few years before your Ephraim, and might have been from the same family or related family. I have not been able to find any information on Joseph's family. Joseph and Betsey were married at the Congregational Church in the town of Franklin, Delaware Co. NY and it's where their daughter was baptized. There were no other Cluff/Cloughs listed with the church. The only census I could find them on was the 1820 Franklin census. Do you know anything about your Ephraim's family?
