I'm still searching for info on my GGrandparents that lived on Chincoteague Island, Va and around Stockton and Snow Hill, Md,
George W CLUFF, b, 1852, s/o Littleton T and Nancy SHARPLEY CLUFF, m. Mary Anne TAYLOR, b. 1855 in Sussex Co, De.,on 5 April 1872. They had (8) eight known children, Elisha, b. 1873, d 1877; Anne E, b. 1874, m. Edgar Sturgis ; Charles Washington b ^ d 1877 ; Bettie, b. abt 1878, d. 1892; Nancy E, b. abt 1879; Julia Anne, b, 1883,d. 1956;Charle James, b. 1886 , d ?? ; Gertrude Mae, b. 1888, d. 1966.
Charles James CLUFF moved to NY area and worked for the NY RR and married a widow that we called Aunt Georgie. Sha had two ons that were adopted by Cluff.
