Looking for any info on Betsey Clough born @ 1805 in NH, who married Josiah Gilman Lucas, 01 June 1828, in York, ME. I have 4 children, Abby Lucy Lucas B. @ 1838(married Stephen H Goodwin 1862); Maria b. @ 1841 no record after 1850 census; George Edward B 1844 (married Susie F Connor 1877); and Charles Henry b. 1851 (married Ida Wormwood). Betsey also raised 2 of Gilman's brother Benjamin's children after his wife died; Benjamin Washington Lucas and Jane Lucas. Any information to Betsey's roots much appreciated. My 4 gr grandmother.
