Thanks for your reply. That is the same information that I have except that all sources I have found have a question mark after Phebe Hoag's name as Mirium's mother. I also don't believe that Phebe could have been born in Montgomery County because Reuben lived in Dutchess County at the time of his marriage and only moved to Montgomery County later. They must have been still in Dutchess County when Mirium married Jabish Gifford of Quaker Hill about 1776.
Not very many records in New York State back that far.
