Ezra Close

I would like to ask for some help on his family?

He is first found in the 1810 Fed. Census of Roxbury,
Delaware County, New York with 4 male under 10, 2 males
under 15, self 26-44! 1 female under 15, and wife 26-44,

He is next found in the 1830 Fed. Census of Shandaken,
Ulster County, New York with 1 male under 15, 2 males
under 20, 3 males under 30, 1 male under 40, and self
under 60, 1 female under 10, and wife under 60.

He is last found in the 1850 Fed. Census of Rockland,
Sullivan County, New York living with Enos Robinson,,,
Ezra aged 89, and his wife Martha aged 73!!

Now, I find Ezra Close in the 1840 Fed. Census in
Shandaken, Ulster County with 3 males under 15, and
3 females under 15, his wife is 30-40 and he is aged
40-50 years!! Would this be Ezra Close Junior?

If so, who were his brothers and sisters? Was this
Ezra Close Seniors 1st marriage? Martha Close, wife
of Ezra Close Sr. was supposedly married to Ezra about
1802? Her maiden name was supposedly Martha Patty Whipple!
Her 1st marriage was supposedly to Ebenezer Robinson?

From these Census alone,,,I can say there are at least
10 male members and 4 female members of the Close family that are unaccounted for!!

Now,,I know that not everyone on this Genforum has completed their Close family tree? and having said this,
PLEASE look at your files one more time, and help some
of us?? You may not help me because of what I have wrote
but, maybe you can help someone else!!

Can anyone help shed a light for THEM??

Thank you for your time!

Mike Shuman
