My Close ancestors come from Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, England. I haven't personally traced the Closes yet but a lot of my family has done it. It was traced to the early 1700's to a Richard Close and Martha Hammond. What year was your Elijah Close born in or better do you know where he was born? Notify Administrator about this message?
