I am searching for Peter Close and his wife, who was Rebecca. Her maiden name has been said to be MC MURLAND but in research I believe it may be MC MURRAN. Peter's will from Carroll Co., OH - DIED1862 OR 1864 - lists all his children, one of whom is Rebecca Close, who married John McGuire in Tuscarawas Co., OH 4 Oct 1832 and she died 10 Aug 1848 in Allen Co., OH.
Some one said John Close was Peter's father. It is also said Peter came to America when 10 years old and was born in Germany. I can find no verification of this information.
Any help will be appreciated.
