I am interested in finding any information about the Close family that came to Massachusetts from Belgium in 1923. The head of the family was either Hubert Nicolas or Nicolas Hubert, depending on which source you look at! His wife was Adolphine, and they came from Verviers, Belgium with their three children, Nicolas, Wallace and Antoinette (Nicolas was my husband's father). They settled in the Massachusetts area -- Lawrence, North Andover, Dracut. I am able to find very little information about the family, and no one living now knows anything (my husband's two siblings). Antoinette married William McDowell and settled in North Andover. Wallace married a Mildred (don't know her maiden name). My husband contacted her years ago, and we have a current phone number, but no one answers. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
