Matilda Close -New York to Michigan

I am looking for any information on Matilda Close who married Orson Nichoson. She was born in NY, and Lived in Michigan. I also have a Converse Close who lived in Grattan Michigan his father might be Gideon Close. They are both burried in Ashley Cemetery Mi. Does any one know if there is a connection for Matilda and Converse?
