You may find this of use.
There are a couple of Closes based in the UK who have put together an ancestry site providing information on Closes in Westmorland and Yorkshire. This covers areas such as Grinton, Crosby Garrett and the surrounding villages. It may not give you what you're looking for but there's a whole lot of stuff and it's certainly worth a look.
