Hi Catherine,

Yes, I do have your Phillippa and quite a few details regarding her family. I was in Pelynt last summer and collected a great deal of info from the parish records, and the graveyard. At this time I have not connected your line of Cloggs to mine, but I was assured in Pelynt that they are all related, so perhaps we can help one another. Your Phillippa b. 1815 (christened Sept. 25 1815 at St. Nun's Church Pelynt) was the daughter of John Clogg, chr. Oct 24 1784, d. Nov 5 1842 in Pelynt, and Phillippa Rowe. They lived at Trelawney Mills, Pelynt. John and Phillippa m. Dec. 2 1807 and had children:
John chr.May 25 1808 (died in infancy)
William chr. Nov 2 1809
Mary chr. July 21 1811 m. 1834 to John J. Roskilly b. 1806
John chr. Aug 11 1813, d. Dec 7 1838
Phillippa (as above)
Thomas Rowe chr. Oct 28 1818
Charles chr. May 1 1822
(all christened in Pelynt, all burials listed are in the Pelynt Parish Church graveyard)

John Clogg b. 1784 was the son of John Clogg and Joan Bennet who were married Aug. 26 1783 at Pelynt Parish Church.

I have a great deal more on my line of Cloggs from Pelynt which I will be gald to send to you. Perhaps between us we can link the two families. Please contact me at the email address given here.
I'll look forward to an info exchange.
Cheers,
Wendy
