Searching for any information on my gg grandparents. The IL State Archives show that they were married on 10/27/1875 in Richland Co. William F. Elkins & Mary C. Clodfelter.
My grandfather's (Guy Elkins) birth certificate also shows that his father's (Ralph Bert Elkins) place of birth was Parkersburg, Richland Co.,IL. The records in Richland were destroyed by a fire, 1877-to present are all that are left.
I believe this family moved to Edwards Co. along with several other Elkins'. If you have any knowledge of them I'd gladly share family info that I have. Thank you, Ronna
