My ancestress, Hannah Claudfelter, b. abt 1802-04 NC, married Thomas Williams, b. abt 1794 NC...they must have married sometime in the 1820s. They are enumerated in 1850 IN, Daviess Co, Reeves census. Living in their household is John C????...spelling is probably phonetic...could be Claudfelter/Clodfelter...maybe Hannah's brother? John is 45 born in NC. Hannah shows up in 1860 IL, Franklin Co, Twship 7 without Thomas Williams who I assume has died. Could this be part of your family...would appreciate any information.
