I have a William Clock born in King Twp. Toronto Canada c.1822, who married Elizabeth Anderson in June 1845. I have always believed that William was the son of Conrad Clock and a descendent of Hendrick Klock of the German Palantines. On the Canadian 1881 Census he claims that he is of Dutch ethnic origin.
Can you help me with this dilemma?
