Jeffrey, Need to clarify - you said Orson P. Clinton who married Anna E. Douglass was listed under Allen Clinton in the definitive Clinton Family. Am I to gather that Orson is a child of Allen? I have an obit of Rev. Orson P Clinton b 1808 that states Orson P. (husband of Anna Douglass) was named after the Rev. but was the son of Edmund Clinton, brother of the Rev. At the time I read this it made sense as Edmund Clinton and Barzillai Douglass (Anna's father) were both appointed by the Gov. as J. P.s in Milwaukee (1840s). According to John Bierman (Bierman/Omeara Family Tree RootsWeb World Connect) Allen (listed as Aleic) was born 1846 while Orson was b 1840??? Do I have the wrong Allen?
