I am looking for any information on one Charles Clinton gunsmith d. in Charleston, SC abt. 1690 and apparently with ties to the Barbados.

Charles' daughter Forrester was born in Barbados and christened at St. Michael's there in the Barbados in abt. 1685.

We are actually looking for links not only to Charles but to his apparent apprentice, Patrick Ballantine who was born in Scotland.
