Hezekiah Rice CLINKSCALES born 30 Mar 1817 in Pendleton Dist, SC. died 9 May 1900 in Itaska, Hill Co, Tx.
Married on 3 Mar 1842 to
Mary Ann Matilda NORRIS born 27 Jan 1818 in Pendleton Dist, SC. died 7 July 1904 in Itaska, Hill Co, Tx.

Children:

1) Robert Norris bn 9 Aug 1843 & died 25 Apr 1845 in Tishomingo Co, Ms.

2) Mary Frances bn 20 Aug 1845 Tishomingo Co, Ms died 28 Sept 1925 in Tx. Md Emmett Benton THOMPSON.

3) James Thompson bn 27 Dec 1847 in Tishomingo Co, Ms died 17 Mar 1934 in San Antonio, Tx. Md 10 Dec 1873 to Sonora Florence ROWLAND. (13 Kids)

4) Hezekiah Rice, Jr bn 7 Sept 1850 Tishomingo Co, Ms. died 2 June 1913 in Houston, Tx. Md Dora Williams THOMPSON.

5) Margaret Elizabeth bn 24 Aug 1853 in Tishomingo Co, Ms. died 24 Mar 1934 in Hill Co, Tx. Md James Edward Southward.

6) Thomas Leftwich bn 30 Sept 1854 in Tishomingo Co, Ms. died 10 Feb 1893 in Nashville, Tn and buried in Hill Co, Tx. Md 1st Sarah Frances HARVEY 2nd Willie L. BENNETT.

7) Lucretia Jane bn 15 Dec 1856 in Tishomingo Co, Ms. died 25 Sept 1879 in Hill Co, Tx. Md William Evrett FRAZIER.

8) Luannah bn 29 Sept 1858 in Tishomingo Co, Ms. died 18 Aug 1878 in Hill Co, Tx. Md Henry ROBINSON.

We have the book "The Clinkscales in America, The Stream Flows On" by Wilda B. Wing. This book lists many of the descendants of these people and many generations of ancestors as well.

We are looking for proof that Hezekiah and James Thompson Clinkscales were in the Civil War.
