Where does the date 1859 for Sarah Clingenpeel come from? I have never found a date for Sarah or "Sally" Clingenpeel. As for them being divorced it is doubtful, they went out to Ohio to spread their faith, The Dunkard Church. A Fulwider researcher William Fulwider states that George Fulwider in Augusta, Va, Deed Book 79, page 90-91 stated," witnesseth that whereas the said Sarah Clingenpeel as a daughter and heir at Law of George Fulwider late of Augusta County, VA, deceased, was entitled to an interest in the land left by the said Father" He did not give me the date of this but it corrects the father of Sarah as being George not brother Henry & wife Ann as was listed on the mico-fishe I had from LDS. The Sarah Clingenpeel of 1859 could well be one of the other Clingenpeels children.
I will e-mail William Fulwider and see if he has a date.
Bonnie
