Hello Kieth, This is probably the same thing you sent me on the Clingan Connection, but someoe else may be interested in having it also. Wally

Susan came to the USA through Dublin, Ireland as a young girl, with her
uncle, Ewing, since both of her parents had died at the same time. She had no
siblings. . She was of Episcopalian (Church of England) parentage. Susan
Clyngan and Samuel Seely were married 17 May 1819, in St. Lawrence County, New
York. She died of diptheria in Oakland Co., Michigan. She was buried in the
same cemetery as Sarah Slater Seely, her mother-in-law. Grand River Road
Cemetery, section five, Lyon Twp, Oakland Co., MI. Her tombstone inscription
reads "Susan, wife of Samuel Seely, died Jan. 1, 1846, aged 44 years". They had
a total number of seven children; Sarah Jane, Thomas, Julia Ann, John Clyngan,
Susan, Jonas G., and Silas Eber (named after his twin uncles).
Wally, thank you again,

Keith Pettersen
