Hello, Edward Clingan was the son of John and Susan Clingan. He was born in Ireland and came to this country sometime before 1799. His father was my ggggreat grandfather and his brother James was my gggrandfather. Edward married Sussanah Mitcheltree around 1799 and had his first child in 1801. They moved from Kentucky to Ohio sometime between 1804 and 1808. To Miami County, Bethel TWP Ohio. Sussanah died in 1823.
