From all my research I am sure the Elizabeth, wife of Peter, was not a Riffe. There are lots of proof that Elizabeth Riffe married Conrad Walls. From the baptisism records for Elizabeth Riffe she was too young to be the wife of Peter. From the census records we find Elizabeth was a few years older that Peter. On page 279, note 351 of the "Archives of the Pioneers of Tazewell County" states, while referring to Peter Rife, Jr."Took an affidavit from his sister Elizabeth Wall, some 10 or 11 years ago".
The Michael Cline who married Margaret Jones is not our Micheal. The Michael who married Margaret Jones stayed in Fredrick Co. Va where they were married. There are plenty of records to prove this. There are records that lists, to this marriage, six known children. On May 17, 1814 he was a bondsman for his sister, and on March 13, 1821 he was the bondsman when his daughter Sarah married William Williams. This is a time when our Michael Cline was in the Va area where we know he had settled.
