I noticed the names in your family of Clines and some are in my family tree.I am looking for the family of a Thomas Cline who married a Melvina Wright in Tenn.I have some reports that Thomas was born in NC. and others say in Tenn.Either way His brothersor family may have been in Tenn.Thomas Cline was born 1800 or 1801. He was part of the Cline family who changed their spelling to Clyne when they reached AR.They were among the "Early Settlers".I have record that he was in Gwinnette County GA. in 1827 wheresome of his children were born then moved to AR., OK.
His children are, Kate Clyne,b. 1825- John Peter or Perry Oliver Clyne, Ezekial Cline,William R.P. Clyne ,Eli Clyne, Joel B. Clyne, Thomas Clyne, Elizabeth J. Clyne, Cornelius Clyne, Melvina Clyne,Eliza Clyne last date of birth 1845.I know the names are handed down from generation to generation. Do any of these sound familiar.I have a lot of information from Thomas Cline, Clyne down but nothing back .His family came from Germany.I understand they were from Scotland before Germany. We are from the Downing and Go-sa-du-i-sga line.
