Somewhat far with my research. I know that Jacob Cline had a son named Jacob Jackson Cline, and that Jacob Jackson Cline went to the University of Kentucky. I also know that Jacob Cline married a Watkins ( who was also an orphan). Jacob Cline was originally a migrant farm worker who if I remember correctly gave false information about his place of origin (or at least no one was able to find records indicating where he was exactly born) He served in Sherman's Wilderness Campaign... fought in Chickahominy and Chatanooga. Hope the extra info helps
