In Virgil White's Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Files, (1991, 3v) the entry for George Clontz or Claunce, 1760-1839, gives as his wife Chloe Cline, born c1766, died 1847, Buncombe City, NC. She is said to have been a sister of Michael Cline, 1761-1840, also a Revolutionary soldier, and of Jacob Cline. They are mentioned in all the lists I've seen of the children of Sebastian Cline and Elizabeth Bieber, but Chloe is nowhere mentioned. Have you seen her listed anywhere? Most of my Klein/Cline data comes from the Catawba County Library in Newton, NC. I've also collected a good bit of Clontz/Glantz data locally, but see no forum for this family yet.. Thanks for your consideration. - Lisabeth.
