I am responding to the statement that Thomas Jefferson Cline was married twice, and that both wives are buried in the cem. between him and the fact is by sight.
If Thomas Jefferson Cline married twice he would have had to do that as a dead man. There has been no marriage found to back up that statement. There was a younger Jefferson Cline.A son of Thomas Jefferson Cline; Ruben married twice.Ruben is buried in the Moody cem. as is his father, mother and his first wife.Ruben nor his first wife Elizabeth Posey Cline/Cline have a marker nor have ever had a marker to my knowledge.
There was a Jefferson Cline who married a Luda Marcomb 7/2/1882, younger Jefferson Cline. There is a R.S. Cline who married a Sarah Minton 12/29/1886, and there is a R. T. Cline who marriedS. S. O. Goin 7/10/1886. These two could have been marriages of Ruben Cline after his wife Elizabeth died.Elizabeth Posey Cline/Cline was my ggrandmother, as was old Thomas Jefferson Cline and Nancy Shoemaker Cline my gggrandparents. As stated to you before I do not think that Thomas Jefferson Cline who died in 1865, could have been married to your Goin lady, that would have been quite an accomplishment.
I hope this clears up some misinformation that you have in this matter. If you can supply me with more info on this I am more than willing to listen.
