My great grandfather FRANKLIN (or James Franklin) PIERCE was born in 1860 or 1865, depending on what record you are looking at, in either Urbana, Champaign
Co, Ohio or in Ridgeway, Hardin Co, Ohio. His marriage certificate lists his parents as JESSE PIERCE and AMANDA CLINE. I can find absolutely no records of this
family until 1900. Frank PIERCE married 1) Melinda OSBORN in Hardin Co, OH in 1886 and 2) Edna DUDGEON in Hardin Co, OH in 1912. Frank PIERCE had four
children by Melinda--George, Marley, Mary, and Sarah. By his second wife, Edna, he had the following children--Vera, Robert (aka "Tate"), Georgia, Willis, Erville (died
young), and Benjamin. Please help! This is a complete brick wall. Thanks.
