Yes, Barbara, this information is very much like what I have. Although I have a little more on Solomon's life. He married Eleanor Patterson in Cherokee County, GA and then moved to Winston County, AL. He was alive in 1880, according to that census for Winston County, AL. He also took the Oath of Allegiance in Winston County, following the Civil War. Solomon gave his place of birth as Lincoln County, NC and the year as 1801.
