Looking for Mary Matilda "Mollie" CLINARD COBB,( b. 1840; d. 1918) after 1880 in Robertson Co., TN. Mary Matilda (listed as Mollie COBB on her death certificate) was the daughter of Sanford CLINARD and Levina BINKLEY. According to her tombstone info she was the wife of J.A. COBB (James Albert). I believe she may have had a first marriage to William L. FUQUA who died in the Civil War. She possibly had one child by William, James B. FUQUA, b. c1862. In 1865, she married J.A. COBB, and they had the following children: Josephus COBB, b. c1867; William Sanford COBB, b. c1868, m. Emma Lou WOODRUFF; Sally Belle COBB, b. c1870, m. John Henry BRIGGS; S. A. COBB (m), b. c1874; G.H. COBB (m), b. c1877; and Thomas Albert COBB, b. 1879, m. Mattie UNK.

By 1900, J. A. COBB was living with a relative in Robertson Co. and was listed as widowed. In 1910, he was living with his daughter, Sallie (Mrs. John Henry BRIGGS). Sallie signed the death certificate of her mother, Mollie, in 1918. The cause of death was listed as paralysis and there is no record of a doctor in attendance at any time prior to her death. I can't find Mollie after 1880 so I'm wondering if she might have been living with a relative or in some sort of institution for the care of the disabled (if there was such a thing then) due to her paralysis. I'd appreciate any help in discovering her whereabouts between 1880 and 1918. I'm also interested in any information about the children of Mollie CLINARD and J.A. COBB. Thanks very much.
Brenda
