Sarah E. CLINARD was the sister of my g grandfather, James A. CLINARD. She appears in the 1850 - 1880 Robertson Co. Census, unmarried, and living in the household of her parents, Sandford and Lavina CLINARD in Robertson Co., TN Recently I've come across new census and marriage records that may show what happened to Sarah after 1880. Samuel CLINARD and wife, Sarah E. appear in the 1900 Robertson Co. Census, District 16. She is 54 and he is 59. They've been married for 4 years so it seems likely he may have had a previous marriage. The following marriage records show:
Samuel CLINARD m. Francis E. HINKLE 23 Nov 1864, Robertson Co., TN.
Samuel CLINARD m. Sallie CLINARD 29 Dec 1895.
I'd like to be sure that the Sarah in these records is my Sarah, and I'd appreciate any information about Sarah E. CLINARD and Samuel CLINARD, their ancestors, etc. Thank you very much.
