Most descendants of James Hudson who moved to Dallas Co. AR with the Cliftons think his wife, Elizabeth, on the 1850 census was second wife, Elizabeth Myatt. His daughter, Elizabeth Hudson, married John Martin Myatt in Dickson Co. TN; then Moses A. Short probably in Graves Co. KY; third William Proctor in Dallas Co. AR.
James first wife was evidently named Elizabeth. It is confusing. Some say his first wife was Elizabeth Clamp born in NC.I don't have any proof of that.Of course, Elizabeth Myatt was born in N.C., also.Elizabeth Myatt Hudson was probably the mother of James' youngest son, Mordica (Lucinda Bettis); and step mother of William J. (Julia Ann Myatt); Elizabeth (Myatt; Short; Proctor); Sarah (Benjamin Winstead); Jesse (Susan Short); and Henry (Elizabeth "Lizzie" Clifton).
I have probably thoroughly confused you but yes, James Hudson and daughter, Elizabeth, married the Myatt brother and sister, children of Kendrick Myatt, Sr.This is what I have but these people are not my line and there may be mistakes.I keep trying to find out more on James Hudson and Sarah Hudson Clifton's parents and siblings.
