Have acquired old letters from Charlotte Wall Clift to Oregon Wall family. Charlotte & Charles Clift lived at 14 Al---n? Terrace, Canterbury Mead, Whitstable, Kent, Eng. Charlotte b. 1842. She & Chas. Had sons, Charlie & John. I have three photos of Charles & Charlotte, one with a servant. There also may be a military connection to India. Below are some brief notes my grandmother made.
