Regarding John Clifft b.1769, he is in my husbands' family tree.
John was married to Amelia and they had, to my knowledge, 4 sons, Samuel, William, James and George who is my husbands' great-great-great grandfather! John will therefore be his great grandfather x4.
I have loads of information and I believe John died in December 1836.
