Dear Sandy
I have been researching the PENLAND family and ran across a Mary CASEY who married a PENLAND after he disappeared she married a William J. CLIFT in Roane County, TN. on March 4, 1824. Mary is buried at Crab Orchard Cemetery near Oakdale, Tn. beside her husband William J. CLIFT and a son, Abner Marion CLIFT. The only marker to the graves is a rock with the son's name on it. Could this Marion CLIFT be yours?
