I wonder if he is related to John CLIFT who m. Elizabeth // in Talbot Co. MD Aug. 28, 1701, and/or Samuel CLIFF who m. Catherine HUES Nov. 24, 1715 same county, Maryland.
The above was taken from a book MARYLAND MARRIAGES 1634 - 1777, found in the Sutro library in San Francisco.
