Searching for any CLIFT / CLIFFT / CLIFF / CLIFFE descendants who originated in Gloucestershire and/or Staffordshire area of England.

My ancestor was Thomas Clift FARMILOE who was baptised in 1796 in Horsley, Gloucestershire. On the 1851 Census he was Thomas CLIFT, age 55 years, an Edge Tool Maker employing 9 men, living in Pountney St, Wolverhampton with his wife Ann and two of their known children THIRZAH / THIRZA / THURSEY CLIFT and son ISAAC CLIFT.

I believe that he also had a daughter Mary Ann CLIFT and another son John George CLIFT who was a Publican in Bilston St, (Unicorn), who was married to Amelia CLIFT (nee WATSON).

His father was Thomas FARMILOE and his mother was Sarah CLIFT who married in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire.

Isaac CLIFT married Lucy JONES and they had Charles CLIFT, George Arthur CLIFT, Joseph CLIFT and Arthur CLIFT and a daughter who died before their births.

Charles CLIFT married Annie Elizabeth BARTLAM and moved to Finchfield, Tettenhall, Staffordshire.

They had 14 children - one of them was my Grandfather Charles Joseph James CLIFT who married Selina HEENAN and moved to Clayton, Manchester, Lancashire.

Would love to make contact with any descendants or anyone with any further information.
