Thank you, Sally, for typing in all this good stuff. Bill Clift and I are researching the descendants of William and Lydia of Marshfield MA. I have the following corrections and questions on what you entered.

William and Lydia (Wills) CLIFT had 5 children for whom we have baptisms. There were probably others, and one may well have been Joseph.

Samuel and Lydia CLIFT had 10 or 11 children, depending on whether they had 2 daughters named Rhoda.

Joseph CLIFT, son of Samuel and Lydia, m. Elizabeth STANTON, not WALTON. He d. 1827, not 1829, and in Brutus, not Onondaga, NY.

Joseph CLIFT, son of Joseph and Elizabeth, d. May 26, 1855; his obit was June 25.

Lemuel CLIFT, son of Joseph, b. 1814, not 1804.

Hannah (Forman)CLIFT d. either 1895 or 1898.

Frank D. CLIFT's middle name was DAINS, not DAVIS.

Joseph's second wife was Lovisa, not Louisa, and their daughter was called Nellie Grace.

Joseph's third wife was Sarah RUDE (not Reede). They m. April 4, not July 4,1885.
