Hi Paul,

I too am descended from the Clift's of KY. I am descended from Nelson who was one of Hensley's older brothers. Nelson is the second son of Benjamin D. Clift and Frances Pecke. Nelson was married twice: first to Nancy Lowery and second to Elizabeth Stout. I am descended from the second marriage. Mason Co., KY has lots of imformation on the Clift's. I found most of my information at the Historical Museum and Library at Maysville. I also found several documents at the Circuit Clerk's office in Maysville. Maysville is the county seat of Mason County. Good luck in your research and let me know if I can be of any help. I'll be glad to share what I have on the Clift's with you.
