I am looking for information about Marion Clift born Nov 1840. He came to Cocke County as a school teacher and married Harriett Gray born 7 Sept 1855. His father was from Virginia and mother from Tennessee.
The children were :
Martha J. 1871
James W. 1873
Charles J. 8 Sept 1876
Bruce Clift 9 Sept 1880
Alice Rowena 23 Oct 1886
