The 1860 census for Mason Co. KY, has the family of Alfred & Louisa Jane CLIFT with ch: Frances age 6, Charlton age 3, and William, a baby b. 1860. I understand from a Peed researcher that Alfred & Louisa Jane were m. March 4, 1852 in Mason Co. KY, and that on the marriage bond, she is listed as "Mrs. Young."
He appears to be the same Alfred CLIFT who was a son of Newton & Margaret Robinson CLIFT and gs of Benjamin & Frances Peake CLIFT, of Mason Co. KY.
