I have some Clifts in my husband's line, and would appreciate it if you could help . A James Newton Cllift and wife Mary (Polly) Brents?were the parents of eleven children: 1. Margaret m. John M. Park 2. Albert G. m. Mary Elizabeth West 3. John 4. Julia m. John Payne Endsley 5. Elizabeth m. William M. Summers 6. Josephine Louisa m. William Wright 7. William m. Henrietta Park? 8. Eliza 9. Amanda m. James Benjamin Wright 10. S. M. 11. William Polk (Bogue). Are these listed in your data and do you know who James Newton Clift's parents were? Do you have any information on Mary (Polly)? It is believed she was a Brents, but no positive proof.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
