Bruce, I am a direct descendent of William Clift who married Lydia Wills in Scituate, MA in 1691. They had a child, Samuel b. Oct.1709. Samuel m. Lydia Doggett. They had a son, Joseph b.Sept.1750 in Preston, CT. This Joseph continued on to central NY. If I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to ask. Joy Clift Campbell
