I'm glad to know there is another Clewis out there. My ancestor, Lewis Clewis married Mary Ivy in Robeson NC in 1821. He migrated to GA, then his son, Lewis, migrated to TX about 1860. He died young, and his son died young, so there aren't many family stories at all. Thanks for starting the forum.
