Is Cary male or female? I was just hunting in census pictures for George Hugo Clewett who married Caroline Stone in 1766 in Middleton, Dane Co., Wi. A George Hugo Hewett married Rebecca Copeland of St. James, Missouri before 1876 and I have used the working assumption that these were two marriages for the same man. If your Cary is a female, maybe that was wrong and the George and Caroline of Wisconsin just kind of disappeared from view. If this is a female and there are any markings on the picture indicating when and where it was taken, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks /Tom Gull
