Hi Donna I am still out here. Thanks for replying!! This is very interesting let me give you what I know and hopefully there may be a connection. Although I must apologize in advance because I am not accurate on dates in this search on the Clewell side as I am still “digging”. My Great Grandmother was Mary Richter who was in fact married to Harry Clewell and from the PA area Allentown. They had two sons that I know of one was my grandfather Joseph Robert Clewell Born February 11th 1896 who was a bus driver and a security guard for Ring Guard who passed away in February 1956 in Collingdale PA I am unsure of the death dates and City and State on Jobe Clewell. Joseph also knew of a male “Richter"(No relation to Mary) in the Collingdale Pa area (who may have been a justice of the peace unsure of that persons name) Joseph Clewell was married twice in his life I don't know to who or the dates from the first marriage but I do know that he had a daughter Marion and a son Jobe from that marriage, he latter went on to marry my grandmother Dorothy C Greenhill and had two daughters from that marriage Jewell and Evelyn Clewell. As my mother recalls she thinks that Mary and Harry may have been of the religion French Huguenots Does this connect to the Clavels? When Joseph enlisted in the Army I think it may have been in the Nazareth area (researching this now) Harry and Mary both had passed away before my mother was born in January 1932. Let me know if any of this makes sense.
Thanks again!!!!
Mari
