What I do know is that Charles St George Cleverly was born about 1819 at Kiilworth, County Cork, Ireland. (Of course, there do not appear to be any christening records for Kilworth.)

However, I have no idea where the Cleverly family actually originated from. Cleverly is not an Irish name. Possibly his father was in the army and posted to Cork.

After Charles St George retired, he moved to England. He died on 14 Aug 1897 at Manley Castle, Upton On Severn, Worcester, England. According to his will, his normal place of abode was: Collingham Place, South Kensington, Middlesex, England.
