Hi Judy: I have a Sarah Cleverly born abt 1665 Hingham, MA She could easily be an ancestor of your Elizabeth. Sarah's father was John born 1635 in Braintree, MA which is only a couple of miles from Hingham. My guess is that John was the pioneer Cleverly for all of that name!
