From "Geneaalogy of Clark Rathbun Cleveland thru Cleaveland - Winn - Cleaveland, Sutliff and Plympton Families with all of his descendents" by Floyd E. Neikirk, Bessemer, Alabama. Copies in the Library of The Western Reserve Historical Society, and the Public Library of Woburn. Also, several members of my family have a copy of this booklet. This book takes the Cleveland branch way back to the following: "From the Cleveland Hill too, doubtless sprang another branch of the Cleveland family, famous for her loveliness, and her winning ways, "Barbara Villiers, Dutchess of Cleveland, 1641-1709, Mistress of Charles II King of England. She was the daughter of William Villers, 2d Viscount Grandison. She was married, 1659, to Roger Palmer, later Earl of Caastlemain, 1661. Her intimacy with Charles II began soon after her marriage, and her influence in court became supreme. She was created Dutchess of Cleveland in 1667." The New Modern Encyclopedia."" This was quoted from Neikirk's book. "Ann Winn, Dau. of (1) Edw. Winn, Hus. Moses Cleaveland (Joyner. Moses Born 1624, Married 9-26-1648, Died 1-9-1701. I have much more information, all of which is contained in the above mentioned book. I don't mind typing out some of the information, but I don't want to do it over again for all who are interested. So would rather respond via e-mail where I could attach the information and only have to type it once. So anyone who is interested, contact me via e-mail at ksellers@norden1.com and let me know what you are interested in. Happy Hunting!!
