Looking for information about my gg grandfather J. F. CLEVELAND (b. NY), who married Margaret A.(LAWRENCE?)(b. NY Sep. 27, 1819) in NY abt. 1837-40. They had four known children all born in NY: John E. abt. 1841, George H. Sep. 30, 1842 (died June 21 1865 in Civil War), Mary J. b. 1844, married M.S. Ordway and died 1900, Andrew Franklyn b. Sep.4 1847 and d. Nov. 7, 1916 in Napoleon, MI. Married Ida Hawley. By 1850 Margaret was living in Grass Lake, Jackson Co. MI with the two younger children. She was newly married to William Price who had several children as well. I assume that J. F. CLEVELAND died between 1847 and 1850 either in MI or NY. Who were his parents? Where did he die? Where were John and George in 1850? John was with his mother by 1860.
