Castleton Lyons Cleveland is the brother of Lucinda Cleveland who married Meredith Taylor Crossland. His parents Joseph and Martha"Patsy" (Meeks) were in Tuscaloosa Co. Al. before 1830. Joseph is the son of Wyatt Cleveland of Franklin Co. Ga. where he and Martha married. Martha is the daughter of Rev. Littleton Meeks and his wife Elizabeth Ivey. Littleton Meeks was a missionary to the indians in N.E. Ga.
