The information about Moses Shannon is interesting. Did you make copies of any of it? It is interesting that he was involved in that through the 1830's, which is when Owen and Thomas Shannon disappear from Pickens Co., AL. One wonders if they might have been involved also, living under assumed names perhpas. That seems a rather low status for a family formerly associated with the Clevelands and the Kilpatricks to descend into.
